Peer reviewed research articles are normally evaluated by at least two qualified independent reviewers.
Editorials, professional perspectives, interviews, announcements, historical material, and other content not subjected to independent peer review will not knowingly be represented as peer reviewed research.

PIBJ provides immediate open access to its scholarly content. Readers are not required to pay a subscription fee, purchase an article, or create an account to access open access research.
