Pyrrhic Press Publishing maintains a multidisciplinary editorial structure supporting scholarly and professional work across business, management, education, technology, STEM, health, language, and interdisciplinary research.

Editorial Board members contribute disciplinary perspective, editorial guidance, research-integrity oversight, and manuscript evaluation within their areas of knowledge and experience.

Board membership does not convey ownership, corporate authority, or financial interest in Pyrrhic Press Publishing.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions concerning scholarly manuscripts are based on the quality, relevance, integrity, clarity, methodology, evidence, and suitability of the submitted work.

Commercial considerations, advertising relationships, personal relationships, sponsorship, an author's status, or an author's ability to pay must not determine whether scholarly work is accepted or rejected.

Editor-Authored Research

Pyrrhic Press recognizes that editors and members of an editorial board may also be active researchers and authors. Such authorship must be managed transparently.

A manuscript authored or co-authored by the Editor-in-Chief will not be independently reviewed or accepted solely by the Editor-in-Chief. Where such a manuscript is submitted for publication as peer-reviewed research, editorial oversight will be assigned to another appropriate editor who does not have a material conflict of interest.

Independent peer reviewers will be used where peer review is required. The author will not participate in selecting the final editorial outcome of their own manuscript.

Peer Review

Scholarly research identified by Pyrrhic Press as peer reviewed must undergo the peer-review process applicable to the journal and article type.

For research articles requiring external peer review, Pyrrhic Press seeks review by qualified individuals with relevant subject-matter knowledge who are independent of the author and free from material conflicts of interest.

Reviewers may consider methodology, reasoning, evidence, citations, originality, clarity, ethical considerations, research integrity, and the manuscript's contribution to its field.

Peer-reviewed research is distinguished from editorials, commentary, professional perspectives, archival or foundational works, announcements, and other material that has not undergone the same external review process. Pyrrhic Press will not knowingly represent editorially reviewed material as independently peer reviewed.

Conflict of Interest & Recusal

Editors and reviewers are expected to disclose personal, professional, financial, institutional, academic, or other relationships that could reasonably affect—or appear to affect—their impartiality.

An editor or reviewer with a material conflict of interest should recuse themselves from the affected manuscript.

Where an Editorial Board member is an author or co-author of a manuscript, that individual will not serve as the independent reviewer or sole final decision-maker for that manuscript.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts fairly, constructively, confidentially, and within the boundaries of their expertise.

Reviewers should identify significant methodological, evidentiary, citation, ethical, or research-integrity concerns when reasonably apparent. Reviewers should not use unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal or professional advantage.

Human Oversight

Pyrrhic Press may use digital, analytical, or automated tools to assist with metadata validation, citation checking, originality screening, manuscript administration, or research-integrity review.

Automated findings do not independently determine whether a manuscript is accepted, rejected, corrected, or subject to an editorial integrity action. Consequential editorial decisions remain subject to human review.

Editorial Board Responsibilities

Depending upon subject matter, availability, and expertise, Editorial Board members may assist Pyrrhic Press with:

• evaluating whether submissions fall within journal scope;
• providing subject-matter or methodological perspective;
• identifying appropriate areas of peer-review expertise;
• reviewing editorial policies and scholarly standards;
• identifying potential research-integrity concerns;
• supporting corrections or other post-publication review;
• advising on the development of journal scope and standards; and
• promoting responsible, ethical, and accessible scholarly communication.

Board Membership

Editorial Board members serve in an advisory and scholarly capacity. Membership does not create an employment relationship, partnership, ownership interest, or authority to bind Pyrrhic Press Publishing unless separately established in writing.

Board composition may change as the journals develop and as additional disciplinary expertise becomes necessary.

Commitment to Transparency

Pyrrhic Press seeks to clearly distinguish publisher ownership, editorial governance, authorship, editorial review, and independent peer review. Readers and authors should be able to understand how scholarly content is evaluated and who is responsible for editorial oversight.
