Publication Schedule
The United States Journal of Excellence in Education and Leadership publishes two regular editions each year.
Special editions may be published in addition to the regular publication schedule when a significant theme, emerging area of research, scholarly collection, or educational topic warrants additional publication.
Special editions are clearly identified and remain subject to applicable Pyrrhic Press editorial, peer review, research integrity, and publication standards.
Peer Review
Research articles designated as peer reviewed are subject to initial editorial screening followed by independent peer review under the Pyrrhic Press Peer Review and Editorial Process.
Peer reviewed research articles are normally evaluated by at least two qualified independent reviewers.
Reviewers are selected according to relevant scholarly, methodological, academic, professional, or subject matter expertise and must be sufficiently independent to provide an impartial evaluation.
Editorials, professional perspectives, interviews, commentary, announcements, historical material, and other content not subjected to independent peer review will not knowingly be represented as peer reviewed research.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly considerations including scope, methodology, evidence, reasoning, originality, clarity, research integrity, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.
Commercial relationships, author status, institutional prestige, advertising, sponsorship, or an author's ability to pay do not determine whether a manuscript receives favorable editorial treatment.
Open Access
USJEEL provides immediate open access to its scholarly content. Readers are not required to purchase a subscription, pay to access an open access scholarly article, or create an account to read published open access research.

Unless otherwise specifically stated, original scholarly content published by USJEEL is released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
