About the Artist
De'Ashia Wallace
AJ P.R.
De'Ashia Wallace is an author, poet, spoken-word performer, and founder of My Pen Still Has Ink LLC. She has written and performed poetry for many years and previously competed nationally as part of a spoken-word team that placed third in the nation.
Her work centers grief, healing, relationships, vulnerability, identity, and the experiences people often struggle to put into words. Wallace is a member of the Georgia Poetry Society and, through that affiliation, the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.
Through My Pen Still Has Ink LLC, she pairs spoken-word performance with writing and author programming intended to help people move from experiences they may not know how to articulate toward language, reflection, and creative expression.
